Today I tried using the alphabetical method of helping the kids to memorise names of Rasuls. I grouped the names alphabetically. Then, wrote it on dinosaur cards…We played the game ” Who knows a Rasul whose name begins with the letter A”….Then, everyone would shout out “Nabi Adam!” or “Nabi Ayyub”…
I think the technique worked well. The kids memorised at least half of the names of the 25 rasul.
For anyone who wants to try this method, here are the names categorised by alphabets.
A: Nabi Adam, Ayyub
D: Daud
H: Harun, Hud
I: Ibrahim, Ishaq, Ismail, Ilyas, Ilyasa’, Isa
L: Lut
M: Musa, Muhammad (S.A.W)
N: Nuh
S: Shuaib, Sulaiman
Y: Yusuf, Yunus, Yahya
Z: Zulkifli, Zakaria
